Hair direction is important as people most times have a specific way in which they want their hair to be parted and fall or not fall on their face.
How the hair system faces is crucial as it dictates the overall style of the hair system and because of how the hair falls it can frame the wearer’s face. A hairstyle will bring out one’s personality or help build their confidence. The wearer wants to choose a style that will bring out one’s personality and help build their confidence. The wearer wants to choose a hair direction that is similar to how their hair naturally falls. For the hair system, it can be difficult parting as some hairs are ventilated to have the knots face a certain direction and this determines the hair direction. One can decide what hair direction the hair should fall;
- Freestyle–is the most popular hair direction style. This is because of its versatility which allows the wearer to create multiple styles. One gets to change and style the hair in any direction you want on any part of the head.
- Center Part- if one has a distinct center crown. The parting is in the crown area and falls from the center. The partition can form a hair whorl and wants a visible center point as the hair falls in a circular motion. The hair can be clockwise or anti-clockwise.
- Left parting-the parting of the hair system is made down the theft side of the head.
- Right parting-the parting of the hair system is made down the right side of the head.
- Center parting-the parting of the hair system is made down the middle of the head.
- Left crown- the hair direction partition is from the crown left of the scalp. This results in the hair flowing outwards. Great for those who want a pronounced parting on the left crown side.
- Right crown- the hair direction partition is from the crown right of the scalp. This results in the hair flowing outwards. Great for those who want a pronounced parting on the right crown side.
- Left break- this parting is very similar to the left parting hair direction. However, the linear partition is indefinite and the scalp is not visible. The hair is still able to fall in the direction to indicate there was a left partition.
- Right break- this parting is very similar to the right parting hair direction. However, the linear partition is indefinite and the scalp is not visible. The hair can fall in the direction to indicate there was a right partition.
- Flat back- it is a great style if you have a high-density hair system with a full hairline as all the hair is sleeked back.
- Forward pump direction- the hairis knotted in a forward freestyle hair direction and it is brushed backward after styling the hair. The hair has a lift more than a flat back direction and is more natural.
